South Central Rooted unfolds a history of inequities in South Central LA that spans over a century and the grassroots resistance that has risen to combat these inequities. This tension has broader implications to our larger City of Los Angeles. The report offers a blueprint to answer this question: What will it actually take to ensure low-income communities of color can thrive in Los Angeles over the next fifty years?
